Resin Pendants my newest Addiction

I have been playing with resin for months now and had some much fun making the glitter gems for the July 2007 Scrapbook Society kit.

After many trials and errors I found a way to drill holes without marring the pendant to create pendants. I have a heart in every color for myself. LOL!!!
I listed them in the store for those interested. The shipping is FREE since I cannot imagine paying the high shipping rates on top of this adorable pendant.

I have been wanting to go to the Elephant Trunk Flea Market for a while now. Today was my lucky day and off we went. The weather was perfect low 70's with a nice breeze.

Lots of wonderful things to see and touch. I found a few little goodies but want to go back in a few weeks and go much earlier in the morning. If you are ever new New Milford, CT this is definitely worth checking out.

Graduation Day

We have a busy day today. My twins are graduating kindergarden and my youngest is having a ceremony for his preschool. We barely make it to each one. :)

I am feeling so sad that they are all growing up so fast. It will be so strange next year to have all 4 of my children in the same school and for all day. I don't think I will know what to do with myself and my extra time.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

July Rouge de Garance Papers

Another amazing sheet of paper.

I had a wonderful time yesterday in Brooklyn at the Renegade Craft Fair. So many talented people out there. I am so bummed I forgot my camera. I packed a big tote bag with all the necessities of being gone all day and it didn't make it in my bag.
I definitely plan on going again next year.

Rouge de Garance Toran

There are so many greens in these papers. I love green this time of year, just makes me so happy.
I am off to the Renegade Craft Fair today. I am so excited to see all the cool handmade stuff. I am taking my daughter with me so won't be walking too fast and will see everything. She is always good at making sure we don't miss a thing.
Then I am stopping by my favorite Japanese used book store before taking the train home. If I am really lucky I will get to score the new magazine Cotton Time.

I have been tagged.....
These are the rules.... each player starts with 7 random facts about themselves on their Blog. People who are tagged need to blog 7 facts about themselves and post the rules as well. At the end of their blog list 7 people you are tagging. Let them know that they are tagged by leaving them a comment. So, time for my 7 random facts:

1. I am terrified of earthworms. I cannot hardly walk on a sidewalk after a rainstorm due to the earthworms. I can't garden without having a panic attack and running away to hide in the house.

2. I won 7th place in the Montana State livestock judging contest when I was 14. If you need to know if a steer will make good steaks, I am your girl.

3. I love to drive and explore. I drive every backroad I can find.

4. I have always wanted to name one of my son's Liam and my husband would never agree.

5. Every summer my oldest son and I pick something odd we want to learn how to cook. We have learned how to make flour tortillas, indian fry bread, eggrolls, chicken curry, apple fritters, and many others. We will spend all summer trying different recipes and techniques till we feel we have mastered it. The rest of the family gets to be our test subjects. I think we need to start picking something more healthy for all us in the future. LOL!!!!

6. I am trying to find someone to teach me tatting. I love the look and would love to learn. I have a book but haven't figured it out yet.

7. Someday I want to own a children's artist studio. I would love to turn my barn/garage into a children's studio where they could learn and play with all kinds of art mediums. Someday I will be brave enough and apply for that small business loan and just go for it. :)

Fabric Printing is so KEWL!

The June Scrapbook Society kits should have found their way to their new homes. The kit is much more vibrant and exciting in real life then we can ever get an image to show.

I have been making a few altered notebooks for "end of the year" teacher gifts with the Lil Davis paper. Can you believe we are still in school in the Northeast? We don't get out until June 23rd.

As soon as I finish with notebooks I want to make one of Rachael's pillows with a picture of my house. I have the perfect little bench to put it on. Wouldn't that be so cool?????

We have a few leftovers including the Maya Road Coaster Book and box from the kits and we will be putting them in the Flea Market section of the store later today.

I have a Secret....shhhhh....

I have been trying very hard to keep a secret and it is becoming harder and harder.

I have got to tell someone. Can you keep a secret??? I am sure you can.

I have finally secured these amazing and limited edition papers for the Scrapbook Society July kit. It has been several months in the works and finally they are coming. And yes you heard right they are Limited Edition (they only printed 5,000) of them. They are like nothing we have seen and amazing.

The papers are not from the US. Can you guess where they are coming from???

All right I feel a little better that I got to tell someone. WHEW!!!!
