A cyber craft is like going to your favorite Crafting event with all the chatting, creating, games, challenges, PRIZES, and loads of inspiration only over the Internet. Have you felt overwhelmed trying to figure out what to take to your crafting event and end up taking everything and the kitchen sink? Can't get a babysitter? The time doesn't work with your schedule?
A cyber craft is perfect since there is nothing to pack and you have all your tools and supplies with you. No babysitters to hire. You can logon at anytime and get started. To make it even more perfect invite a few friends over and create together.
Starting tonight at 6PM EST you will find challenges to tackle. You will have until midnight the next night to finish the challenge and load it to our gallery. The Design Team and myself are around all weekend if you have any questions. Each evening at 6PM EST another set of challenges and projects to start on.
Can't tackle all the challenges and projects this weekend? Save them and do them another time.
You are going to find plenty of Mother's Day gift projects to create. A great time to get it all done in plenty of time for Mother's Day.
Go to our Community Board to get your supply list and all the details.

I had so much fun these last few days creating the SBS Project kit. The 7gypsies papers are so elegant to work with. I knew they would make the perfect Mother's Day album. I found some great Mother quotes and love how it turned out.

I know you are asking so what is the technique!!!
You can do so many things with beeswax and your house will smell wonderful while you are playing with it.
It is perfect for collage work, using as an adhesive, and adding texture. My personal favorite is to stamp in the beeswax and using the metallic rubons that will be in the kit to add dimension to your stamped image.
If you haven't already ordered your May 2007 kit we will have a handful left after our memberships.
You can order one on our website. http://store.ilove2create.com/servlet/Categories?category=Scrapbook+Society+Kits

Can you guess what these are pictures of??
They go perfectly with the May technique and perfect for those Mother's Day projects.
The rest of the kit is just as amazing as these papers.
I am so excited to play, now to clean the house, start the laundry, and occupy the kids so I can sneak away to play.

I snuck in some time this past week to crochet a Cupcake Purse. I found the pattern online at a site called www.youcanmakethis.com. I love it and used my scrap yarn.
The only thing I wish is that it was a little smaller. I made it for my daughter and it is quite large for her to use. Of course she loves it anyway.
She is having a slumber party later this month and she wants me to make one for all the little girls. I might be able to if I made them 1/3 of the size this one is. :)
Or maybe I will luck out and talk her into something else a little less time consuming.

Stampbord is a very forgiving medium. If you make a mistake you simply rub it off with a little steel wool and start again. If you haven't checked out our gallery and seen the amazing work by our Design Team you have to stop by very soon.
And we have new products in our store!!! I finally got in the new mobile kits from Trace Industries. They are wonderful and include all the pieces for you to create your own mobile.
